Brief Description of Patent No.330188

Energy Saving – Line Loss Controller, Patent No 330188 has been granted by Government of India in Jan’2020. It is the only patent in India in respect of Energy Saving by improvement of Power Factor and cancellation of electrical losses of unbalance three phase electric circuit having unbalance power factor, unbalance voltage and unbalance load.

Conventional power factor correction system being used in global market have been designed only for three phase balance electric circuit having balance power factor, balance voltage and balance load of all three phases. In present advanced time, three phase electric circuits do not have balance power factor, balance voltage and balance load of all three phases. It results electrical losses due to presence of reactive power in circuit and actual power factor is not maintained upto close to unity.

Energy Saving – Line Loss Controller introduces use of single phase capacitors alongwith three phase capacitors, which maintain power factor close to unity of each phase, resulting net average power close to unity. It reduces demand and consumption by compensation of reactive power which reduces electrical losses of unbalance electric circuit so net electricity bill of commercial / industrial consumer is reduced appreciably by use of Energy Saving – Line Loss Controller.
Energy Saving – Line Loss Controller can be provided on L.T. secondary side of Power Transformer as well as on primary H.T. Side of Power Transformer matching to Load requirement.

Demonstration has been done of Energy Saving – Line Loss Controller at various sites and results have been found very satisfactory. This Energy Saver can be used in Government and private sector on electric connections like Building Complexes, Office buildings, Hospitals, Malls, Hotels, Banks, Defence Colonies, Industries like plastic industry, cold storage, Ricemills, Mig Welding, Seam welding, Arc welding, Heavy industries, etc. Energy Saving – Line Loss Controller is provided on L.T. / H.T. side of Power Transformer as per requirement at all categories of consumers.

From above it is revealed that there is huge marketing potential of Energy Saver due to economic significance.
